This and That

There are a few things we need to discuss,

so let's do it now, shall we?

This way we can start the week off with a clean slate.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Thank you for all the lovely comments about how cute I am,

with date filled layers, made by my stalker aka mom, is not me.

For the record, I'm not blonde, and I'm not quite as tall. She has long legs, while I

was blessed with shall we say a shorter version. And I say blessed, because I

know they are a blessing, I just haven't figured out why yet.

Who is she? That sweetheart is my Aunt.

 Not what you pictured for an aunt?

That might be because she's only eleven years older than me.

And I will state for the record that growing up with an Aunt, so close in age,

was the coolest thing ever, for both my brother and I.

She liked our music, our clothes and our friends.

In fact, she still does!

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Speaking of sweethearts, my dear and very sweet friend Misha,

is hosting her second annual 'Flea Market Style' giveaway.

to see what all the buzz is about!

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

And speaking of buzzes,

I went here on Saturday.
 And I'm buzzing with excitement!

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

And speaking of bees, I've decided the button decision is final

and the tally is over and the end results

were astonishingly lopsided.

The winner by a landslide of 29 - 5....

And I think that wraps things up around the old farmhouse for another weekend.

Here's hoping your week is a good one.

~Bee well friends!~

Yay, the bee's are on their way!
They have to be...or my future vision won't come true, will it?

I knew that was your Mom, but not the aunt. My aunt Deb is only 9 years older than me! Too cool :)

Thanks for the shout-out about the giveaway! I can't wait to see who wins. Hooray!

You have an awesome week. Think of me while you are riding on the train. I will be mucking stalls and yelling, "Annie, NO!" over and over and over....Geez, toddlers.

I knew you'd pick that button! It will be interesting to hear about beekeeping... since I assume that's why you went to a bee store :)

It must have been interesting to have such a young aunt. My husband has 11 aunts and uncles all from his dad's family (yep an even dozen kids)... the youngest uncle is only 4 years older than my husband. My father in law's school bus driver joked that there were Bouchard kids getting on the bus for 20 years... he was close since it was actually 19 years!

Heading over to My Front Porch in the Mountains right now!

It was interesting to read about your aunt. I was an aunt when I was 2 1/2. By the time I was 9, I had two nephews and 2 nieces. We all grew up together. So I can identify with your love for your aunt!

I like your button. Great choice. Bees scare me a little, so you are very brave in my eyes!

Having bees sounds very intimidating however, I am looking forward to future BEE posts! Love the new button, my favorite. Happy Spring!

You went to a bee supply store!!! I'm so wishing I could have gone with you--I asked Jeff if we could have bees...yeah, backyard chickens was an easy sell--backyard bees? Not a chance. Sigh. I'll have to live out my barnheart through you!
