Horse Love

Just a few scenes from this weekend, where the twins competed in the last horse show of the season.

Edited with Kim's 'Grunge with text' texture.

The girl twin cleaned house, bringing home four second place ribbons and one third place.
She's come along way in the ring, and we're mighty proud of her.
Shadow, the male of the herd and the Girl Twin's equine love.
From the top of his head
to the tip of his toes, this boy's all cowboy.
And he worked his first shift as Junior Stablehand last week!

The biggest character of the farm, Chevy. He likes to give high fives with those horns.

No thanks.

Chevy, by the way is short for Chevre.
Chevre is french for goat.

The twins ride at a bilingual farm.

And all the horses and dogs, understand both languages!

Outdone by a goat.
Will wonders never cease?

~Be well friends!~
Sweet Shot Day

Hooray for horses, ribbons, riding with love, goats, dirty boots, worn-out behinds, and Junior Stablehand!!!

Wait until I tell Annie :) Who, by the way, was a very bad filly today!
I just may need to to have Jr. Stablehand come give her a talkin' to!

Give them hugs for me. All of them. Even Mr. Fancy Pants "I am bilingual" Chevy!

Congrats on her ribbons! I love the way you textured the photo with inspirational words. And it's such a sweet photo of her and her horse.

Visiting from TT. Congrats to the girl twin!!!! What is it about a girl and her horse? I grew up in suburbia but when little always dreamed of keeping a horse in my GARAGE!!! :) Love the texture you chose with those inspirational words. Very lovely. But scrolling down I just LOVE (keeping with the theme here) your capture of her horses eye....horses have the most beautiful eyes, always so soulful. LOVEly job!

I love to visit you . . .
Delightful photos, a bit of "wit in the word" and visable family warmth and country living.

I enjoyed, "the eye" and the "girl twin's" marking, (bruise?) on her cheek. Tell her congrat's on the ribbon taking.
