Highway 59: A Series

Sometimes, with a little knowledge and a dash of planning, the paths you choose in life 
can bring you along avenues filled with experiences you never dare dream. 
And if  you're lucky, it can take you along roads filled with patient old barns 
that thought you'd never come visit. This barn particularly, with it's three tin soldiers
standing on guard, could be heard letting out a huge sigh of relief as I pulled over 
and there was the slightest murmur heard coming from amongst the three of them 
while one of them said, "I told you she'd get here".
For the month of December, I'll be featuring barns along highway 59. 
A small tribute to my grandparents who likely traveled along 
this two lane highway more than any other in the world.

    I really like this and will never look at silos the same again..though I might come up with a little different name. And hope to remember to come here to see the barns you post.

    I had to look up Hwy 59. I'm not as familiar with that area (thought the town names all sound so very familiar!) So, I look forward to taking this tour with you.
