This or That Thursday: eDition 14

Hydrangea in winter.

It's been another busy week around the old farmhouse as we finished putting Christmas
decorations away and tried to dig ourselves back into our routine. Easier said than done.

I've also been turning a small nook that I used as office space into a sewing nook.
Except that once I did that I thought it might be better to set up a spot for photographing stills
indoors. What I really want is to make it an area for both but I haven't quite figured out how yet.

It will come to me eventually but rather than over think it, I grabbed the camera on Sunday
and did a little yard sleuthing. An inspection of the premises was long overdue and the
afternoon sun is always a cure for whatever ails you.
Chickens always help too.

:::::::::

When I returned to the farmhouse after my brief respite out of doors, there was a frantic
and excited phone call waiting for me from the Artist. Seems he's taken my love of
thrifting to a whole new level. He called to let me know he had scored a bedroom set,
practically brand new from a neighbour at his office for free.

 More rearranging.

Oy!

~Be well friends!~

Free is my favorite price!

The room will fall into to place, just think on it's purpose and you will have a wonderful place to work/play.

I like the photos today, especially hydrangeas and cattails in the winter. I rarely do textures but I might try a few.

A free bedroom suite - well done Mr Artist. Hope you were able to sort out your sewing/photography space to your satisfaction. Particularly in awe of your 2nd & 3rd shots here.

I've gotten a few phone calls like that myself... of course, my husband and I don't always see eye to eye on some of these items ;)

I too am having a bit of a difficult time getting back into my routine after the holidays... and now with our snow I'm just discombobulated all around!

PS WHAT is THAT seedy looking thing in the second photo? I've never seen anything quite like that!

I love the first shot how the background is blurry, it really gives the benefit to the hydrangea.

Beautiful photos around the farm and such lovely texture work! I hope you get your space all figured out. I still haven't figured out how to make the most of my extremely small office.

You take beautiful photos! And, if we trust the photo with the chickens, you don't seem to have much snow...

Bravo for the free bedroom suite and good luck with your room re-arranging.
