My Daily Barn

My daily view. Some days I look at it, other days I see it. Really see it.
Some days, like yesterday and Saturday, it's way, way over there beyond all the weeds in my fruit beds.
Today the weeds, well the big ones anyways, are history and this barn is a little closer.
My muscles are pretty sore too but they'll get over it.

What's that you say? Oh right.
It's my new borrowed lens not the weeds, or lack of, that make it closer.
Let's not tell my muscles that. Lest they go on strike.

I wonder what the inhabitants of our old farmhouse thought when it was built.
Did they dismay at the impediment of their view of the western skyline?
They likely had other things to think about.
And they probably didn't worry about weeds,
or their muscles.

~Be well friends~

A wonderful barn, visible to the house so you can make sure all is right in the livestock world but far enough away for the smell not to be too strong.

What nice old barn. Somedays things seem to be more clear then others. I suppose it all hinges on your state of mind at the time-as to weather or not the small things are noticed or everything just blends together.
