Welcome to Fall Fair

What better way to welcome fall than by spending the first day at the fair? Fall bristled her way in, however, leaving everyone scrambling for long pants and jackets and a yearning in our bellies for warm comfort food. Warm fair food is always the best way to welcome the crispiness of fall air into our longs. Sort of like maintaining an internal balance to keep our bodies fine tuned. Our choice du jour was funnel cakes. Yes, plural, we had several. Those twins might not have reached ten feet in height, but they are still growing, nonetheless.

Fairs of any scale are marvelous events for communities to come together. The food is usually quite good.

The colors of the fair are so vibrant and you captured them all. I am ready to go in search of pumpkins and gourds....and funnel cakes? No, I will wait for our fair next summer.
