Saturday Snap

Winter can pretend to keep its hold on us,
trick us with giant flakes of snow
or deafen us with its howling winds
but it's all just a facade
to keep us in its grasp
through its dying days.
How do I know this?
Why it's the light, of course.
The sun might not give us that warming feeling
we've been yearning for, at least not quite yet
but it's there revealing more and more each day.
Showing us what has been there all along,
in our hearts.

Longer days inspire and remind us Spring has arrived or is about to!

Your post is a great pick-me-up!
