My best find lately was some yarn - some for knitting and some for weaving (less than $5 total); along with a barely used copy of "More Food that really Schmecks" by Edna Staebler (K-W cookbook author who passed away not too long ago at age 100)for $1.
MomAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5333207684889687005.post-71060188086745823512010-02-07T16:54:05.421-05:002010-02-07T16:54:05.421-05:00Oh my goodness Andrea! Lord only knows where they are now. :( But hey! Maybe you just bought a couple of them! :)

I'll be giving your stalker some more dryer lint tomorrow for your firestarters!Joanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14791694370927671675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5333207684889687005.post-85587359781799257492010-02-07T10:38:11.261-05:002010-02-07T10:38:11.261-05:00Love the pictures you share of the skating, grew u...Love the pictures you share of the skating, grew up on a lake skating all day and all night. Raised our girls on a lake, skating all day and all night. When we bought this land one of the first things we did was to dig for a farm pond, to be able to skate. Well it never held any amount of water, so now we need to dig another and fill the hole. Love your finds. I have all of Julia's cookbooks and books, have had them for years and read from cover to cover many times. I went to by some of those canning jars with the galvanized lids, They wanted $6. a piece for them. YOU GOT A GREAT DEAL!
Great finds!Laurie at Turner Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00351448321550247495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5333207684889687005.post-40481676385633593692010-02-07T09:02:55.663-05:002010-02-07T09:02:55.663-05:00Great thrift store finds! I'm trying not to buy anything new until I retire in two years.
