Once I move out of apartment living and back into a home (hopefully farmhouse), I'll have a looooong clothesline like yours.Gennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10695642340244699402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5333207684889687005.post-37737483266842005452010-04-14T12:25:31.171-04:002010-04-14T12:25:31.171-04:00I've been dreaming of a clothesline for MONTHS...I've been dreaming of a clothesline for MONTHS! Can you believe that where I live you can have horses, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, bees, WHATEVER... but the CC & R's restrict us from having a clothes line! Go figure!

When I move, I want 1) my own well; 2) a root cellar; and 3) a clothes line!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00564840073358020600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5333207684889687005.post-15076115866876642482010-04-14T11:57:30.515-04:002010-04-14T11:57:30.515-04:00I loooove me a clothesline! The sheets smell so good.
But, more than saving energy, and the sweet smell of the clothes, I think my fave thing about a clothesline is the visual it presents! Reminds me of being at my Nana's when I was little and got to help hang out the laundry.
Good memories...

xo, misha

p.s. remember the anonymous person who calls themselve, "Mom?"
she is baaaaaack!~from my front porch in the mountains~https://www.blogger.com/profile/18103990196491433325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5333207684889687005.post-42904809275082552112010-04-14T11:21:47.157-04:002010-04-14T11:21:47.157-04:00I love a clothesline too. I love drying clothes outside but right now with all of the pollen in the air I'm still drying them on the rack inside. Hopefully all the pollen will be gone soon and I'll be able to hang laundry outside again.Ankehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16891642887957584851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5333207684889687005.post-60081834150543548022010-04-14T08:17:01.157-04:002010-04-14T08:17:01.157-04:00I am GREEN with envy!! The GroundsKeeper has been promising me a clothesline for about 4 years now...this spring we have agreed on a location and style of line...I am hopeful. I can't wait to see how yours is set up - it looks quite high, do you have a stoop? Does everyone know what a "stoop" is?
MomAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5333207684889687005.post-4513647148620918542010-04-14T08:03:29.296-04:002010-04-14T08:03:29.296-04:00My clothes line was not a well thought out process...My clothes line was not a well thought out process. Under cedar trees, and a wild cherry tree that the birds loved. The trees grew, the line did not. Long story short it was taken down.

I have borrored my neighbors clothsline when I wash my quilts.
