Summer

Summer has officially arrived and I've got just one thing to say about that.
 Welcome indeed.

LOL, Andrea - we've had Summer here in KY for the past few weeks. Lots of heat and humidity, and afternoon thunderstorms rumbling thru. It's supposed to get up to 94 tomorrow, with heat indexes of over 100. But I do welcome the warmth, and the plentiful afternoon rains. Take care, from KY - and nice to see you on the Front Porch the other day.

Oh, yeah! I'm so glad it's at least warmer here now - although I wore a light jacket all day today! Could summer last for about 6 months this year? I'm going to need that long to thaw out!

Fine. Celebrate Summer. Be that way.
But could we not have Summer without the hot weather?

Puhleeze! I just cannot take 97 degrees and humid another day! And it is only June 22!

So I am going to celebrate that Fall is only 80-some days away! HA!

Don't mean to rain on your parade :)

Welcome Summer! From Andrea. Not Misha.

xo, me!

Hello Andrea! It's felt like summer here for a while now...yesterday our truck showed a temperature of 102' OUCH! The poor animals that are out in the fields...I feel for them. Thanks for stopping by today...I'm glad you liked the post on the garden gates. I hope you're enjoying a beautiful summer day! Take care...Maura :)

Its very hot here as well and its kind of painful to do chores in this kind of heat (so I get out super early and/or late in the afternoon but no matter what... summer is always welcome here! :)

Andrea I am glad summer is here but could we do it without the 98 degree days, 200% humidity and 75 dewpoint? Oh and a few less severe storms without the hail. And a breeze would be good too. Enjoy your Summer Wednesday Andrea! I think we get a break from our humidity tomorrow :)
