Happy Canada Day!

We interrupt our regularly scheduled Thrifty Thursday in order to celebrate Canada's 143rd birthday.

Happy Canada Day!

All of us around here have been gearing up for the big day, but none more so than the Artist. This is only our second Canada Day in the country and our first year attending the Canada Day events sponsored by our local village and it's a busy day at that for the Artist who was in charge of the sponsorship drive, the classic car show, as well as designing the graphics for posters, flyers and t-shirts commemorating the event.

The entire committee of volunteers have done a wonderful job and I think our future Canada Day schedules are mapped out for many years to come.

I'll share the details with you all tomorrow.

 ~Until then friends~

cool, cool, cool, Miss Andrea! I would've never guessed Canada Day in a million years. How neat that the Artist got involved in all of the planning. Maybe someone will talk with him about the poster designs for future jobs? I hope all goes well at the festivities. Take care, from KY.

This is our second 4th of July here in the country too...last year we were deep into renovations but this year we're having a BBQ here on the farm with one brother in law and his wife. I've got the decorations and all the fixin's for Sunday...it should be a great day down here too. Enjoy and please think of me while you sing 'Oh Canada' ;-) Take care...Maura :)
