Celebrating

We're having a wet start to our country stay-cation but that's all right, the forecast calls for warm sunny days ahead and I'm fairly certain another type of water will be thrown in there..namely, pools and lakes.

We're also in a celebration mode around the old farmhouse today.

Our daily dose of sunshine turned 11 this week!
Seriously folks, this is all the vitamin D you need.

This also means the twins are now both 11 and back in sync, and all is right with the world for almost another year. Meanwhile, the Artist and I are also celebrating our first wedding anniversary today, and in honour of such an auspicious occasion we're having a giveaway on Rural Revival!

I'd like to give a Rural Reveler one of these cute lanterns that we used as lighting inside the tent for our wedding dinner and which also doubled as a wedding favour for our special guests.

I'm also going to throw in this CD.

Because she's a favourite Canadian girl whose title track from this album we chose for our first dance and because everyone should have a little Jill in their repertoire.

This giveaway is open to all followers as a small token of my appreciation.

Just leave a comment if you'd like to enter, I will choose the winner in a fortnight.

~Be well friends, and thanks for following~

Andrea - I would like to be entered into your giveaway - the lantern would come in handy for those mid-night trips to the outhouse! Congrats are in order for you and the Artist's first anniversary, and for the twins both being 11 now. Yes, now all is right with the world. Take care, from KY.

Your 11 year old sweetie pie is just too cute in pink! Did you do her hair? It is just fabulous! Her smile certainly does light up the room-just beautiful.

Happy 1st anniversary!!! ???? REALLY? Already? But how can that be? I remember posts about the upcoming wedding and surely that couldn't have been over a year ago? My goodness. Well, it's good to know we've been blog-friends for that long. :o)

I would love to be entered into the giveaway! That lantern is lovely. I think I could put it to good use. :o)

Happy Birthday and Anniversary. I came here in search of your mom who left me this comment: Hi Nat; I have just found your blog and would like to thank you for sharing your world. I love your quilts and your baskets. I'm a beginner quilter, hoping to do more in my retirement which is coming up soon. I think there is a basketweaving guild in my area, and hope to learn that craft as well. I do a little knitting too, but again, there just hasn't been a lot of time! I don't have a blog (maybe someday) but you can visit my daughter's blog: Ontario Rural Revival blogspot. We live in Southwestern Ontario, Canada.
Thanks again - I'll be visiting regularly!

I couldn't reply to her because she was using anonymous comment. I would very much like to thanks her for the kind comment she left for me. Would you be able to get her to email me please? Thanks Nat
