This Moment: Blueberry Picking...Again

{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

I am linking up to Soulemama for this Friday moment.

 ~Happy Friday friends~

I just found your blog through Soulemama's. I look forward to looking around...for now we are off the Meech Lake to absorb a lovely ending of summer day.
What are you hard at work doing? What a great picture.

It looks like such a peaceful and quiet moment - out enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. You're right - no words are needed, a single picture speaks volumes. So nice to meet you too Andrea.

Hey Andrea - here is my Friday moment, taken just minutes ago before posting on my blog. I did give an explanation, so there are words to go with the moment, but here goes:

Super sibling shot! We love to go blueberry picking. It's always wonderful to sprinkle fresh blueberries on everything, and then freeze a bunch to be used in blueberry muffins in January. Yum!

I can see why you want to savor it. I've been feeling the same about everything lately. I just want to squeeze every last precious memory...knowing full well it's slipping away a little.

A photo which tugs at a mother's heartstrings. Blueberrying was a favorite summer activity that my mother, my two boys and I enjoyed together for many summers. Now that my sons are grown they no longer go berrying with us, but do return home to indulge in the delicious homemade pies and muffins.
