Restored

Sunrise from the front porch of the old farmhouse this morning.

I have rested my body, nourished my soul and grieved, yet not alone.

I have hiked our woods and refreshed my lungs

and invigorated my spirit.

I am restored.

Life in the old farmhouse, for me, has returned to normal.

A little closer to spring, but normal, nonetheless.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

And an update as promised, an arrest has been made in the murder of our neighbour.

While things will never quite return to the previous innocence in which

we lived each day, step by step, there is a collective relief.

A small piece of restoration for all of us here in my little neck of the woods.

~Peace and love my friends~

I am so glad to hear they made an arrest. Even though things may never be as they were before it should hopefully give everybody a little peace of mind.

Thank goodness they found them! I'm sure that will forever be in the background of your mind. I hope you're feeling better from the loss of your Grammie.

Hopefully this will bring some closure to the issue, although I can understand that you won't ever feel the same.

Andrea first off I'm glad you're back. You were missed. Happy you're feeling a little better to, although some of it will take time. The arrest is great news. A little peace-of-mind for you and your family I'm sure. I see on your sidebar you're reading "Better Off". Curious to see how you like it. I read it a few years ago. I liked the premise of it but found his writing style a little here-and-there.
Have a great week!

Andrea, I don't think I ever thanked you for letting me know about the arrest and thus the answer to prayer that the police would find the truth. I appreciated you letting me know, but even more grateful that you can have some peace now!

Andrea, I'm glad you are feeling a bit better..it is so hard to lose someone you love. I'm happy they made an arrest...and I hope it was a one time thing...I know I have been extra cautious since it happened to you...you just never know.

I am glad things are looking up.
A hike through nature is always good for restoration.

Have a wonderful new week.

Hey Andrea, good to hear they caught someone. Is it random or did she know him? Your picture is just gorgeous. I know it changes things and I pray that over time it will get more and more peaceful.

Andrea... I'm glad to hear you are doing better! It must have been difficult enough without battling the flu too! It also must have been a relief of sorts for the police to have caught the suspected person.

I'm so sorry we didn't get the chance to get together while I was in the Toronto area but I must say, I really enjoyed my trip there. We of course went to Niagara Falls and that was truly amazing!

Andrea, glad to read you are on the mend and feeling more like yourself. I must have over looked a post, a murder? your neighbor? I am so sorry to read this. It is hard to accept the unthinkable especially when it occurs in one's neck of the woods. Sending blessings from Maine, Julie.

Andrea, what a relief that an arrest has been made. I hope everyone can begin to breathe and rest easier now. I'm glad you're feeling better. I don't think I would have been able to rest peacefully until someone was found.
