Encore

The sound of a gentle rain plays outside the window to my right,
as I recall my wish to hear this music, through many a wintry night.
And suddenly the magnolia blossoms are no longer displayed before,
so now I dream of next spring and whisper encore please, encore.

I just love the sound of rain. It is pure theraputic! We've even gotten some here in hot AZ and that is so not like May. I hope it stays forever.

Nancy this is a great shot. I unfortunately am growing tired of the sound of the gentle rain. Where is my sun? B

Lovely photo and prose, Andrea. Spring can be aggravating at times, but it is over much too soon. :)

At least you salvaged a blossom or two before the rain!

Very Nice! I am sad too that my magnolia bush is already done for a whole 'nother year!

Hi there,

Just stumbled upon your blog, and what a find! I am interested in urban homesteading and photography and have just started a photography/spirituality/lifestyle bog. Your photos are gorgeous and it is interesting to see how you edit them!

Thanks for a stunning blog!
