Local Barn Charm

It's been a while since I stopped to capture a barn
but that doesn't mean they've fallen out of favour in my books.
No sirree Bob.
Far from it.

My wheels were in motion as I headed
to work one morning last week,
but they stopped in their tracks as I peered
to my left, just down the road from the old farmhouse. This neighbour's barn,
it's a beauty and well cared for, but that sun peeking out from behind it,
chasing Jack Frost away,
was a sight to behold
 during these gray November days.
