The View from Here

After two weeks of constant watch over boiling sap, Saturday was our last day for collecting.
There's still a bit more to finish off, but it can be done inside where it's a little more comfortable and a lot less muddy.
Who wants pancakes?

Thanks for sharing your sappy pastime! ;-) Haven't collected sap in ages! But I'm so blessed to have syrup from my cousins' sugar house!

Oh I do love your view :) We are officially done and the buckets are empty and the taps are all pulled. We bottled our last bottle tonight.

What a wonderful view. I love the texture of the tree and the way it all extends into the background. The dog adds a little special touch. Yes please on the pancakes.
