Rural Roams: Decew Falls Mill

The Artist and I went on a quick road trip Saturday morning to check out a vintage sale. While the sale didn't amount to much, there was no sense letting a good opportunity to do a little sightseeing pass us by. We visited Decew Falls, where an original mill and family home still remain onsite, restored completely by volunteers. You can read more about the family here, if you're so inclined.
The home, just up the hill from the mill, looks down upon the falls and the sound of water falling follows you everywhere. I think if I had ever lived here, I'd have a hard time falling asleep anywhere else.
