A Warm Fall Weekend

It was another busy weekend around the old farmhouse, and because the weather was unseasonably warm, we continued with outdoor work. The Artist, worked on putting new trim on the windows. My, what a difference it will make.
The Twins painted the front porch. I'm pretty certain they've never worked harder in their lives, but they did an amazing job. From prepping to cleanup they looked after the entire process on their own. Maturing children is a wonderful thing.
I managed to stop tripping over that bag of tulips long enough to get them all planted. Pablo can rest easy and I can look forward to extra colour in the yard this spring.
Ember spent her time doing what she does well...hunting.
And Callie did what Callie does best. Callie? Callie?! Hey, Callie! Just what are you doing?

A warm fall weekend, it brings out the best in everyone.

Well, almost everyone.
