Looming

Christmas season is in full swing, yet not a single decoration has been unpacked, or a Christmas carol played on the stereo. Callie has been out of dog cookies for two weeks and the entire farmhouse is covered in a fine layer of drywall dust. Meanwhile, I'm still tackling this mudroom, the Artist has been working on our dining room for three weeks and the idea of having these jobs done before Christmas, is long past, although the Artist is still, in my opinion, extremely optimistic. Our supervisors are pushing us hard to git er done. However, one likes to sleep on the job and the other one just sits and stares waiting for the purr-fect time to attack a quick moving paint brush.

You can see why I'm not quite as optimistic about the looming Christmas deadline.

This is a fantastic shot of what I am sure is a bit of a stressful time. I know it will all come together soon for you all!

This is a gorgeous photo of your kittehs!! Bee Girl, I had no idea you were tackling drywall dust and other lovelies during this holiday season. Oh my. Been there, done that. In fact, I decided (several yrs ago) to wallpaper my kitchen right before Christmas. Of course, this included the nastiness of removing layers of old paper prior to the actual project. Ugh. But back to you.. it will be worth it.. SO worth it. Your home is amazing and it will be even MORE amazing when you're finished. Hang in there!! -Tammy
