Chances

Now that my time isn't completely occupied with wedding planning, I can now relax, sit back and watch as Dandy prepares for matrimonial bliss. She and her husband-to-be have narrowed their wedding song choices down to two. Please pay her a visit and help the poor girl out, she has a lot of decisions to make!

She's also curious about what your wedding song was, if you're married. Well, we chose Chances by Jill Barber. My husband and I both heard this song on our separate commutes to work last fall and instantly loved this song. The entire album, of the same name, has an old time feel, reminiscent of Patsy Cline for me or Patti Page, for my husband. It seemed to suit our old farm garden, country wedding. It also really fits the two of us. You see, I usually tell people we met through a mutual friend, it saves receiving odd looks, especially from the older generation, but truth be told, we met on-line through a dating service. I can't tell you, how many times, especially the first few years after we met, when we would look at each other and one would say, "What are the chances, that we would meet?" and the other would reply, "Yes, what are the chances?"

Exactly, what are the chances?

Andrea, that was SO nice I had to listen to it twice. I'll have to find a way to hear more of Jill Barber. Love it! The video was even classy and smooth, just like her voice.
I love it that you and hubby met online, and it has all worked out so beautifully! -Tammy

Great song for your wedding. It must be nice to not have to plan plan plan!
