Why I Moved to the Country: Reason #7

Skating on the pond!

I forget just how big the pond really is, until it freezes and I'm out there, skating. After a few trips around the rink, my feet start to cramp. Must be the skates, um, yes, definitely the skates.

These guys can skate circles around me!

Both twins are studying acting...one drama, the other comedy. I'll let you decide for yourself which one is which.

Be well friends!

Gosh, I remember skating all winter when I was a kid. Your kids are two blessed souls to have all this "country" in their lives. They will have memories like I do :)

I sent off an email to you, Andrea. I am horrible at returning emails in a timely fashion. But, now you know that little quirk about your friend in Tn.!!!

Hope you all have a rockin' New Years. We will be on the couch, watching TV, and staying warm. It will be 18 degrees for us. I love it!

I used to love skating on my Grandmothers pond. It was such a fun, fun time! I doubt I could even stand up on them now! I've enjoyed blog this year and look forward to visiting more in 2010! And I wanted to thank you for following my blog, too! I appreciate it. Happy New Year to you and all your lovely family!
