Christmas is over, and many of us are anxious to put our decorations away for another year.
Before you throw out those Christmas cards that traveled miles to your mailbox,
take a look at what my Stalker taught me to do with them, many moons ago.
A card front like this, can trimmed up in a matter of minutes,
and turned into a lovely gift tag.
I can't tell you how many times I've been asked, over the years, where I purchase my gift tags.
"Why, I make them", I always reply, while the questioner looks at me a little dumbfounded.
Then I explain and watch as the light bulb comes on.
The possibilities are endless,
with tags for girls
and tags for boys.
I've been recycling cards for so long, that when I visit a friend or relative over the holidays, I can usually be found sizing up their Christmas cards, deciding how I would slice and dice them into works of gift tag art.
So, please keep those cards, cut them up now and they'll be ready for next year.
And if you please, don't copy the Artist's gift tag style.
It's unique and one of a kind.
And it should stay that way.
(That's a gift I'm holding, not a tag!)
