Live, Laugh, Love

Thank you, one and all, for your kind outpouring of love and support. Beginning with the tragedy down the road at the eve of this year, it seems there has been continuing scenes of drama around here, and none of it for the good. Right now, I'm ready for more heady stuff, like the drama of bee stings and too much chicken poop to scoop. And while I dream of greener, sunnier days sure to come, I've also been stuck in a time bubble. Delving into childhood memories, which I am fortunate to say are all good, makes me yearn for times long gone when I still had all four of my grandparents with me, who so fully taught me to live, laugh and to love.
But I also know it's because of them, that I will enjoy the sound of bees buzzing around my head, delight in the cackle of hens and feel completely replete in the love garnished upon me by my family.

To continue on with this journey of life, the one they started me on, is the best way to honour them.

Even when it's still snowing in April.
They might have overdone it on the laugh part.

Lucky for me.

~Be well friends and mille mercis!~

What a beautiful sweet tribute to your grandparents. There is no living without the love and the laughter, may their memories continue to fill you with all three...

I just read your post on your grandparents, I am sorry to know that you lost both of them recently.

The picture of them says so many things...I love that picture. I love the looks on there faces of pure joy. I love the way your grandad is clutching his wife under the arm.

Something about that picture just enapulates youth that transends through the generations.

What a treasure to remember them by.

OK, it is early, give me a break. Encapsulates.

What is wrong with me? Not enough coffee yet.
