There's no place like home

unless,
there is a dog about town with a home that looks
suspiciously like yours but only cozier because
the straw is always warmer on the other side.

Note:
No dogs were harmed in the making of this photo,
but her level headed thinking has come into question
when she vacates her premises for the birds.

I mean...really Callie?

I'm impressed with soul of peace your dog apparently has. For our dogs, this would type of chicken behavior would be punished with the death penalty. As a matter of fact, one of the Ameracuanas did come into the dogs part of the backyard last week and did not make it out alive. What was she thinking??????

Tee-hee. Our chickens liked to sleep on the back of our Hereford when it got chilly!

How cute!!! My chickens walk over my lab like she is a log. The dog doesn't even blink. What great dogs we have.

That is a fun photo of your hens. They are taking advantage of a great opportunity. We had a new shelter built for our mini donks and the chickens are pretty sure we put it there for them. After all, the donkeys are not using it most of the time, so why not?
