The Busy Season

It was a busy weekend around the old farmhouse. There were lots of cookies to sample. Butter tarts, pecan cookies, shortbread, jam drop cookies, gingerbread, and molasses cookies, just to name a few.

We searched for and found this year's tree, in the rain. That's right, we're still waiting for snow, or something that significantly resembles snow. We're not picky.

We had more serious merry munching to do.

It was a pretty joyous weekend. Good thing too, because we enjoyed every minute of the weekend. Did you?

Blessings friends!

Everyone is baking today on blogs, and I'm getting really hungry!! (sadly, I'm not really doing much baking until Christmas Eve day...)
